4 Home screens – Y our ho me screen is the starting point for accessing all of phone’s features. The home screen has multiple panels to view them swipe right or left. Status bar – M any use ful information and notifications will be displayed here e.
5 Main menu screen – Your main menu screen contains all the apps you have installed on the device. You can also browse through available widg ets. To browse between multiple panels, swipe left or right with your fingertip. Touch , to return to a p rev ious screen or touch the home button to return to the home screen at any time.
6 Caution – only use your fingertips while using the device. Tap - to o pen a n application, press an on screen b utton, to e nter a character u sing the on screen ke y board o r to sel ect a menu item gently tap it with your fingertip. Tap and hold – tap and hold for a short while to access extra options available for a given item.
7 Long pre ss and drag – to move your application icons, long press the application icon and drag. Zoom in – sp read your finger on m ap screen, web page or an im age to zoom in. Zoom out – pinch fingers together on a map screen , web page or an image to zoom out.
8 Motion gesture – You can rotate your phone in orde r to have a b etter view. For many screens you can automatically change your screen orientation by tilting the device sideways. W hile writing you can tilt the device in order to use a bigger keyboard.
9 Au to ma ti c lo c k sc r ee n – When your phone is not in use, lock your phone to prevent unwanted operation and save battery life. To lock the screen, press the power button. To unlock the screen, press the power button and slide the lock icon to the side.
10 Phone scaned your face and ask you a PIN. W he n you can not unlock a phone you enter a PIN. Voice unlock – say a few times your voice password. Re ce nt ly u se d ap ps Press two times to easily a ccess recently used apps, slide your finger up and down to review the complete list.
11 Quick settings – quick se ttings allow you to conveniently an d swiftly change major device functions like: WIFI, GPS, Data connection and others. A ccessing quick s et tings – to access quick settings slide dow n the no ti fication panel with your fingertip and press the quick menu icon of two fingers tighten the strap down.

A larm- set alarm time (when you set alar m before) Returning to the notification panel from quic k settings – you can easily return to the notification panel f ro m the quick settings me nu by pressing this icon.
13 Typing – as you type, each letter ap pears abov e your finger. T he letter isn’t entered until you choose the desired word or press space. Uppercase le tters – Tap the shift key for one uppercase letter. Tap and press to toggle on and off uppercase letters.
14 Entering text by voice – you can enter text by . Touch on the keyboard, and then speak in to the micro phone . The device displays w ha t you say. If the device does not recognize of words correctly, tap the highlighted text and select a different word or phrase .
15 Swiping Additional function is writing without lifting a finger. To use this function please slid e finger across the screen..
16 Status ic ons – th e icons appear at the top of the screen and display important in formation about the device. Call in progress Missed call New SMS or MMS WIFI connected GPRS.

18 You can make calls from the Phon e app, the People app, or othe r widgets that display contact information. W herever you see a phone number, you can u s ually touch it to dial. To open the Phone app, touch the Phone icon on a Home or All Ap ps screen.
19 W he n you receive a p hone call, the Incoming Call screen opens and display s th e phone number. If the caller is an existing contact in your Peoples app, a dditional information m ay be displayed. W he n a call arriv es, touch the white phone icon and slid e over to one of the following icons: Answer call Start talking to the caller.
20 The call log is a list of all th e calls you’ve placed, rece iv ed, or m issed. It provides a convenient way to redial a number, return a call, or add a number to y o ur Contacts. W i thin the Phone app, the call log is in the lower lef t corner of the screen.
21 During a call, you can touch the following icons near the bottom of the screen. Shows the keypad. Turns the speakerphone on or off. If a Bluetooth headset is connected, this functions as a three-way switch among the built-in earpiece, the speakerphone, and the headset.

28 Widgets are graphical elements that support a sp ecific function or providing information, such as notifications, conta c t lists, news, weathe r or local. They allow you to change the settings or choose profiles. The list of available widgets is located afte r press and hold to General screen and ente r to W idgets tab.
29 Contacts - Contacts are stored in one of two available phonebooks: Google Account Phonebook (located on your phone, which synchronizes with y our Google Account ) or device phonebook (located on your phone). W hen y o u add a new contact will be saved only in the selected book.

31 Ad d c on ta ct s to a g r ou p: Add contacts to a group – in the phonebook tap , o view contact groups, tap , to add a contact to a group. Enter your group’s name tap , to add contacts. Import export contacts - View contact list by tapping the phone book button .
32 Speed dial – Use speed dial to dial a phone number with a single tap. For example if you assign a contact number to the 5 key, you can tap and hold the 5 key to dial the contact. Tip – the number 1 key is usually reserved for your voicemail. Press and hold this key to call voicemail and retrieve your voicemail messages.
33 Emergency calls – In so me regions, you can make emergency calls e v en if you don’t hav e a SIM card installed. If you are not in the vicinity of a base station you will not be a ble to make an emergency call. Tip – in most European countries the emergency number is 112.
34 The phone connection came ra (PTP) – let’s you trans fer photos using camera software and transfer any files on computers that don’t support MTP. 1. Use the USB cable to establish a connection with th e computer. You don't have to turn off USB debugging.
35 Wi -Fi provides a wireless network access within a range of up to 10 0 m. If you use a cell phone to connect to a W i-Fi netw ork, you should connect to a wireless access point or a so called “hot spot”.
36 T o acce ss the internet without a W i -Fi connection. Y ou can activate data connection. The service costs depend on the contract you signed with y our operator . T o activate data connection open the quick settings menu and to uch data connection.

There are currently 2 7 GPS satellites in orbit – 24 are in active use and 3 act as a backup in case another satellites fails.

44 Web page body – here y o u will find the actual website content, y ou can click o n active areas of the website to visit li nks, download content, play music, games and many others . Tip – remember to check if you have an active wifi connection or if data connection is turned on, before accessing the web.
45 Open the camera app – in the Main Menu, select Camera . T a ke pi ct ur es 1. Aim your screen at the object. 2. T ap the “shutter” button on the screen. (camera icon). Photos will be sa v ed in th e camera’s gallery folder named using the time when they w ere t aken.

54 Storage Allows you to choose the preferred location to install new applications. Allows you to view the memory usage of your phone and memory card. Allows you to unmount or erase the memory card. Allows you to select the default memory .
