DESCRIPTION OF OPERAT ION The 1206 Dispens e Valve is a positi ve displacement val ve that requires continuo us m aterial feed. The operation of the valve is as follows: Material enters the Dispense Val ve through the m aterial inlet port located on the m etering rod/sleeve assembly and fills the d ispense c avity.
OPERA TING PROCEDURES DRY SYSTEM CHECKOUT This is an initial check out to find if the s ystem setup is com plete. Conduct the dr y system check out without material in the s ystem. Attach the pne umatic press ure lines from the dispense valve to the air su pply controller.
OPERA TING PROCEDURES OPERATION ADJUSTMENTS Adjust the Dispense Valve for proper opera tion as follows. See step 4 for volum e adjustm ent. 1. Make sure that all th e Dispense Valve c onnections are in plac e. 2. Connect the m aterial for dispensing. Posi tion a container to catc h the dis pensed m aterial.
