18 English Recording on Disc Y ou can use both 8 cm DVD-RAM and DVD-R discs on this DVD video camera/recor der for recording. The recor ded video and audio will be stored on an 8 cm DVD-RAM disc or 8 cm DVD-R disc.

35 English Setting Date and Time Set the current date and time correctly so that the date and time you make a recording can be recorded correctly. Setting the correct date and time will allow you to store the correct information on recording. (The following procedure can also be used to correct the date and time you have already set.

Zoom 48x or 240x specified, digital zoom will automatically kick in when optical 12x zoom range is exceeded. Y ou can set the digital zoom to 48x or 240x for movie recor ding, or 48x for still recording.
58 English Switching Movie Quality Mode Choose the movie quality from “ XTRA ” (only with DVD-RAM disc), “ FINE ” , “ STD ” and “ LPCM ” (only with DVD-R disc).
59 English Input Selection If you wish to input an image from another device to this DVD video camera/r ecorder , you must first switch the setting on the DVD video camera/recor der . Refer to the explanation starting from page 92 on how to connect the DVD video camera/r ecorder to other devices or record images input fr om them.
60 English Changing Method for Recording Stills Y ou can recor d stills of externally input images on a DVD-RAM disc in the Frame or Field mode. The DVD video camera/recor der can r ecord an external image with little movement by specifying "Frame", but "Field" is recommended for r ecording image with movement.
