The higher the print density , the more toner is used. On average, a toner cartridge will produce approximately 1500 sheets at 5% print density .

User’s Guide 21 English Hardware Problems Problem When you try to print nothing happens. Printing is garbled. Printer freezes, or an error message displays when computer is restarted. Odours are given off by forms or adhesives passing through the hot fusing unit.

Put paper in feeder with print f acing the back of the printer , look on the package f or an arrow or other indicator of the print side.
