HP Om niBook 6000 Product Inf orm ation 1-7 Using Fn Hot Key s The combination of the F n key plus another key creates a hot key —a shortcut key sequence—for various sy stem controls. To use a hot key, press and hold Fn, press the appropriate second key , then release both keys .

The PO ST (Power-On Self-Test) is a series of initialization routines and diagnostic tests that the system BIOS runs when the computer boots.
