EN Job retention features 75 Deleting a held job When a user sends a proof and hold job , the printer automatically deletes that user ’ s previous proof and hold job .
76 Chapter 2 - Printing tasks EN Printing a priv ate job The private printing f eature lets a user specify that a job is not printed until that user releases it using a 4-digit personal identification number (PIN) through the printer control panel. The user specifies the PIN in the driver and it is sent to the printer as par t of the pr int job .
EN Job retention features 77 Deleting a priv ate job A private job is automatically deleted from the printer ’ s hard disk accessor y after the user releases it f or pr inting, unless the user selects the Stored Job option in the driver . Note If you turn the pr inter off , all quick cop y , proof and hold, and priv ate jobs are deleted.
