Getting Started 33 1.4 Charging the Batt er y New batteries are shipped partially charged. Before y ou start using your phone, it is recommended that you char ge the battery. Some batteries perform best after several full charge/discharge cycles . The battery is fully charged after about 3 hours of charging.

Chapt er 4 Managing your Phone 4.1 P ersonalizing Y our Phone Setting up the Home screen The Home screen is the starting place for most of the tasks you perform on your phone. Y ou can gain access to all features and prog rams from the Home screen. T o customize the Home screen On the Home screen, select Start > Settings > Home Screen .
