13 MOUNTING THE W ALL PLA TE 1 . Remove the w all plate from the Hunter thermost at by gently pull ing the wall pla te from the back of the ther mostat. 2. Position the new wa ll plate on the wal l horizontally and pull the labeled wires through the opening.

26 SET TING Th E SP AN The SP AN set ting mode in the SY STEM SET TINGS MENU allo ws you to adjust the system ON / OFF c ycle ra te. The default set ting is 2 F . The system c ycles ON or OFF when the temperature is within 2°F (1 °C ) above and below the set temperature.

64 ENE RGY MONITOR FUNC TION The ENERGY MONITOR function allows you to revi ew and monitor the ef fec t of your program set tings on the system runtime.

66 ERROR MESSAGE ERROR mode indicates an expec ted operation problem. The scre en flashes a SYSTEM ERROR message and shuts the s ystem off. Y ou must reset and the t hermostat by replacing the batteries if the t hermostat has entered ERROR mode.
67 COMPRESSOR PRO TECTION Af ter the system stops running in cooling mode, there is a 3.5 minute del ay before it can be rest ar ted to prevent compressor damage due to rapid cycling. RESETTING THE UN IT T o re store the thermost at to the original f ac tor y set tings, enter the SYST EM SET TINGS MENU and set Option 1 2 to YES .
