25 4. Award BIOS Setup 4.1 Introducti on This chapter discusses the setup program in the BIOS. It will give users a step-by-step guidance to conf igure the system. T he user- defined configur ation is then stored in the batter y -back ed CMOS RAM, w hich retains the cus tom ized inform ation while the power is off .
