KEY FOB Locking And Unlocking The Doors/Liftgate • Press the LOCK button once to lock all the doors and the liftgate. Press the UNLOCK button once to unlock the driver’ s door only and twice within five seconds to unlock all the doors and liftgate.
WARNING! • Do not start or run an engine in a closed gar age or confined area. Exhaus t gas contains Carbon Mono xide (CO) which is odorles s and colorl ess. Carbon Monoxide is poisonous and can c ause serious injury or death when inhaled. • Keep Key F ob transmitters away fr om children.
FRONT SEA TS WARNING! Adjusting a seat whil e the vehicle is moving is danger ous. The sudden movement of the seat could c ause you to lose contr ol. The seat belt might not be properl y adjusted and y ou could be injured. Onl y adjust a seat while the v ehicle is parked.
Eight-W ay Driver Pow er Seat • The r ecline switch, located on the outboard side of the seat, controls seatback adjustment. • The power seat switch contr ols forward/back, up/down, and tilt adjustment. F our-W ay Passenger Power Seat • The r ecline switch, located on the outboard side of the seat, controls seatback adjustment.

REAR SEA TS 40/20/40 Second Ro w Folding Seat F old and Tumbl e - Second Row Seat • The left, center , or right side of the second row seat can be lower ed. The left and right side of the second row seat can also be tumbled forward to allow access to the thir d row seat.
50/50 Thir d Row Folding Seat • Either side of the third r ow seat can be lowered. • Open the liftgate. • Pull the seatback release handle (towar d the rear of the vehicle), and lower the seatback using the pull strap.
WARNING! (Continued) • Do not place anything on the seat that insulates against heat, such as a blank et or cushion. This may cause the seat heater t o overheat. Sitting in a seat that has been overheat ed could cause serious burns due to the incr eased surface temperatur e of the seat.
ADJUST ABLE PEDALS • The adjustable pedal switch is located on the left side of the instrument panel. • Press the bottom of the switch to move the brak e and accelerator pedals away from the driver . Press the top of the s witch to move the pedals closer to the driver .
TURN SIGNAL/LIGHTS LEVER Headlights/Parking Lights • Rotate the end of the lever to the first detent for parking lights , the second detent for headlights and the third detent for A UTO. • When set to A UTO, the system automatically tur ns the headlights on or off based on ambient light levels.
F og Lights • T urn on the parking lights or low beam headlights and pull out the end of the lev er . T urn Signals/Lane Change Assist • T ap the lever up or down once and the tur n signal (right or left) will flash three times and automatically turn of f.
SPEED CONTROL LEVER Cruise ON/OFF • Push the ON/OFF button to activate the Speed Control. • CRUISE will appear on the instrument cluster to indicate the Speed Control is on. • Push the ON/OFF button a second time to turn the system of f. WARNING! Leaving the Electr onic Speed Control system on when not in use is danger ous.
ELECTRONIC RANGE SELECT (ERS) • The Electr onic Range Select (ERS) feature allows you to select the desired top gear . For example, if you shift the transaxle into thir d gear , the transaxle will nev er shift above third gear , but can shift down to second or first gear automatically when needed.
AUTOMA TIC TEMPERA TURE CONTROLS (A TC) Automatic Operation • T urn the Mode Contr ol to the AUTO position and the Blower Contr ol to either LO AUTO or HIGH AUT O position. • Select the desired temper ature by rotating the temper ature controls for the driver or passenger .
Rear Climate Contr ol • The Manual Rear Climate Contr ol system has one floor air outlet (passenger side), and two panel outlets in the rear quarter trim (on each side).
POWER LIFTGA TE • The power liftgate may be opened manually or by pr essing the LIFTGA TE button on the Key Fob. Pr ess the LIFTGA TE button on the Key Fob twice within five seconds to open the power liftgate. Once the liftgate is open, pressing the button twice within five seconds a second time will close the liftgate.
Opening Sunr oof Express • Press the switch r earward and release. T he sunroof will fully open and stop automatically . Closing Sunr oof Express • Press the switch forwar d and release. The sunr oof will close automatically from any position. Manual Open/Close • Press and hold the switch r earward to open or forward to close the sunr oof.

Har d Disc Drive Operation Copy Complete Audio Disc T o Har d-Drive • Press the OPEN/CLOSE har d-key and insert a disc, then press the MENU hard-k ey . • T ouch the MY FILES soft-key , then select MY MUSIC. • T ouch the IMPORT MUSIC soft-k ey , then touch the FROM DISC soft-key in the next screen to start the process.

REMOTE AUDIO CONTROLS • The switches ar e located on the rear surface of the steering wheel. Right Switch • Press the switch up or down to incr ease and decrease the volume.
Operation Of The T ouch-Scr een Radio • T o view a DVD video pr ess the OPEN/CLOSE hard-key and insert the disc. Playback will begin automatically after the DVD is r ecognized by the disc drive. If playback does not begin automatically follow these steps: • Press the MENU har d-key , then touch the REAR VES™ soft-key .
ELECTRONIC VEHICLE INFORMA TION CENTER (EVIC) • The EVIC featur es a driver interactive display that is located in the instrument cluster . Pressing the contr ols on the steering wheel allows the driver to select vehicle information and Personal Settings.
Pr ogramming A Rolling Code System • At the garage door opener motor (in the gar age), locate the “learn” or “training” button. This can usually be found wher e the hanging antenna wire is attached to the garage door opener motor (it is NOT the button normally used to open and close the door).
WARNING! T o Avoid Serious Injury or Death: Do not use a thr ee-pr ong adaptor . Do not insert any objects into the r eceptacl es. Do not touch with wet hands. Close the lid when not in use. If this outlet is mishandl ed, it may cause an el ectric shock and failur e.
Phone Pairing NOTE: P airing is a one-time initial setup before using the phone. Y ou will also need to follow the Bluetooth instructions in your cell phone user guide to complete the phone pairing setup. • Press the Phone button to begin. • W ait for the “ready” prompt and beep.
Changing The V olume • Start a dialogue by pressing the Phone button , then adjust the volume during a normal call. • Use the radio ON/OFF V OLUME rotary knob to adjust the volume to a comfortable level while the uconnect™ system is speaking. Please note the volume setting for uconnect™ is differ ent than the audio system.
FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE OPERA TION Quadra-T rac I ® Operating Instructions/Pr ecautions • The Quadr a-T rac I ® is a single-speed (HI range only) tr ansfer case, which provides convenient full-time four–wheel drive. No driver inter action is requir ed.
Shifting Pr ocedur es 4WD HI T o 4WD LOW • With the vehicle at speeds of 0 to 3 mph (0 to 5 km/h), key ON or engine running, shift the tr ansmission into NEUTRAL, and raise the tr ansfer case T -handle. The “4WD LO W” indicator light in the instrument cluster will begin to flash and remain on solid when the shift is complete.
INTERIOR STORAGE COMP ARTMENTS Rear Storage Compartment • The cargo tie-downs, located on the cargo area floor , should be used to safely secure loads when the vehicle is moving. WARNING! • T o help protect against per sonal injury, passenger s should not be seated in the r ear car go area.

BRAKE/TRANSMISSION INTERLOCK MANUAL OVERRIDE • The manual override may be used in the event that the shift lever should fail to move from P ARK with the Key Fob in the ON position and the brak e pedal pressed.

- Electr onic Throttl e Control (ET C) Light • This light informs you of a pr oblem with the Electronic Thr ottle Control (ETC) system. • If a problem is detected, the light will come on while the engine is running.
IF YOUR ENGINE OVERHEA TS • In any of the following situations, you can reduce the potential for overheating by taking the appropriate action. • On the highways — slow down. • In city traf fic — while stopped, shift transmission into NEUTRAL, but do not increase engine idle speed.
JACKING AND TIRE CHANGING WARNING! • Do not attempt to change a tir e on the side of the vehicle cl ose to moving traffic. Pull far enough off the r oad to avoid the danger of being hit when operating the jack or changing the wheel. • Getting under a jacked-up vehicl e is dangerous.
Spar e Tire Stowage • T o remov e or stow the spare, use the jack handle to rotate the “spar e tire drive” nut which is located under a plastic cover under the cargo load floor , just inside the liftgate opening.
• Place the jack: • For fr ont wheels, place it under the front lower control arm. • For r ear wheels, place it under the axle near the wheel to be changed. • T urn the jack scr ew clockwise to firmly engage the jack saddle with the lift area of the sill flange.
JUMP-ST ARTING WARNING! EVENT DA T A RECORDER (EDR) • This vehicle is equipped with an Event Data Recor der (EDR). The main purpose of an EDR is to recor d, in certain crash or near crash-like situations, such as an air bag deployment or hitting a road obstacle, data that will assist in understanding how a vehicle's systems performed.
OPENING THE HOOD • Pull the hood release lever located below the steering wheel at the base of the instrument panel. • Reach into the opening beneath the center of the hood and move the safety latch lever while lifting the hood at the same time.
