Installing - 4 INSTALLING Installing Install Lift Arms NO TE: Align the machine directl y behind the blade assembl y before parking the mach ine . 1. P ar k the machine safely . (See P arking Safely in the Saf ety section.) 2. Install one 1/2 x 1-1/2 x 3/16 in.
Installing - 5 INSTALLING 2. Inser t threaded end of lift links down through holes in lift channel (A) and bent end of lift links through holes in lift arms (B). 3. F asten bent ends of lift links (C) to lift ar ms with spr ing locking pin. 4. Thread 3/8 in.
Removing - 6 REMO VING Removing Remo ve Blade 1. P ar k machine safely . (See P arking Safely in the Saf ety section.) 2. Put bloc ks of wood or a board under blade. 3. Push machine lift le ver down low ering blade onto b locks or board and lock le ver in lo west position.

Operating - 8 OPERATING Adjusting Skid Shoes When clearing snow on smooth surf aces, skid shoes should be appro ximately 1/4 inch abov e ground le vel. When clearing snow on une ven surf aces, skid shoes should keep b lade above g round lev el. Height above ground le vel should be based on the unev enness of your surf ace.
Operating - 9 OPERATING up to 6 inches. Blade is not intended to mov e grav el or dir t. Operate engine at full throttle f or best performance, control ground speed using lo wer gears or foot controls . Put Blade On An Angle: • When clearing mater ial to the side.

Assembly - 13 ASSEMBL Y Grease Use a SAE Multi-pur pose grease based on the expected air temperature range during the service inter v al. Install Drawbar Support Plate 1. Place dra wbar suppor t plate (A) under rear axle and under dra wbar (B). 2. Align dra wbar holes with axle holes.
Assembly - 14 ASSEMBL Y 2. Assemble break ov er stop bolt: • Install one 5/16 x 5/8 in. hex bolt (D) into bottom hole of each rib on blade assemb ly and fasten with 5/16 in. lock n ut (E). Assemble Piv ot Plate to Thrust Channel 1. Assemble the piv ot plate (A) a nd the pivot plate reinf orcement (B) on top of the thrust cha nnel (C).
Assembly - 15 ASSEMBL Y Assemble Piv o t Latch Strap 1. Inser t 3/8 x 4-1/2 in. full thread bolt (A) through one side of thrust channel (B), approximately half w ay . 2. Assemble one 3/8 in. he x nut (D) (non-locking) and 3/8 in. lock w asher (C) onto hex bolt (A) appro ximately 1 inch from head of bolt.
Assembly - 16 ASSEMBL Y aw ay from the head of the bolt. Assemb le two nuts and bolts in this manner . 2. Place blade piv ot brack et (C) on the left side of the pivot plate (D). Inser t bolt and nut assemb ly (A and B) and f asten with another nut and loc k washer assembly (E).
Assembly - 17 ASSEMBL Y Assemble Rear Support Channels to Thrust Channel 1. Install front stabilizer br ack et (A) ov er thr ust channel (B). 2. Assemble one rear support channel to each side of the thrust channel and fasten with f our 3/8 x 1 in. hex bolts (C) and f our 3/8 in.
