Setting up Befor e using for the first time Push the handle onto the flexible tube and until it engages. Push the cre vice nozzle and upholster y nozzle back into the accessories holder as indicated. Insert the flexible hose connector into the opening on the vacuum cleaner until it engages.
8 Press the on/off button in the dir ection of the arrow to switch y our vacuum cleaner on/off. Setting up Insert the telescopic tube into the adapter of the floor tool. Unlock the telescopic tube to adjust its length by moving the sliding switch in the dir ection of the arrow .

11 V acuuming V acuuming with accessories Attach the nozzles to the suction pipe or handle as requir ed: Cre vice nozzle for vacuuming crevices and corners, etc. Upholster y nozzle for vacuuming upholster ed furniture, curtains, etc . After use, push the crevice nozzle and upholstery nozzle back into the accessories holder as indicated.
12 V acuuming Y ou can use the parking aid on the side of the vacuum cleaner if you wish to stop vacuuming f or a short time . Once you ha ve switched off the vacuum cleaner , slide the catch on the floor tool into the groo ve on the side of the appliance.
13 Unplug the vacuum cleaner . T ug the power cor d briefly and let go . The cable then re winds automatically . When the work is done T o remo ve the flexible tube, press the tw o lugs together and pull the tube out. T o store or transport the vacuum cleaner , use the parking aid on the underside of the vacuum cleaner .
14 Changing the dust bag Replacing the dust bag If the dust bag change indicator is completely y ellow when the floor tool is lifted from the floor and the highest suction pow er is selected, the dust bag must be changed, ev en though it ma y not yet be full.
15 Changing the dust bag Slide the new dust bag into the holder to the stop . Caution: The lid can only be closed when a dust bag has been inserted. Cleaning the motor protection filter The motor protection filter should be cleaned at r egular inter vals by tapping it or washing it out.
16 Changing the dust bag Replacing the micro-h ygiene filter The micro-h ygiene filter should be changed: when starting a newpack of bags • Open the dust bag compartment lid. • Release the filter holder by moving the locking le ver in the direction of the ar ro w .
17 • Alwa ys switch the vacuum cleaner off and disconnect the pow er cord fr om the mains befor e cleaning the vacuum cleaner . • The vacuum cleaner and plastic accessories can be cleaned with a commercial plasticcleaner . Do not use abrasive, glass or all-purpose cleaners.
