Explanation of hard di sk capacity Dear user, While using your computer , you may find that the nominal hard disk capacity in dicated is som ewhat different from the di sk capacity displayed by the operating syste m. For example, a nom inal 40GB h ard disk will ap pear as less tha n 40GB in the op erating system .
In addit ion, if a porti on of the har d disk space has been used for some specific purpose, then the c a pacity indicated by the o per ating system will be even l ess than X × 0.
