16 VX8350 Getting Started with Y our Phone Installing the Battery 1 . Insert the bottom of the battery into the opening on the back of the phone. 2. Push the battery down until it clicks into place. 3. Place the battery cover over the opening on the back of the phone, then slide it upward until it clicks into place.

When you turn the phone back on, a message pops up alerting you that the phone was powered off for your safety .
