INSTALLATION NOTE This mainboard complies with the ATX standard, which means the ACPI connector on this board i s 2-pin. If the Power LE D cable of your case uses a 3-pin adapter, yo u must use the 2-pin to 3-pin adapter (c ontained in the packaging).
Locate the Power LED cable attached to the case. If the Power LED cable has a 3-pin adapter, you must use th e 2-pin to 3-pin adapter which com es with the packaging. The heads of the power cables usually have a triangular mark which indicates the positive electrode(+).

K8SLI 13 Front Panel Indicator: SW/LED 、 SPEAKER HD LED (Hard Drive LED Connector) This connector can be attached to an LED on the front pane l of a computer case. The LED will flicker during disk ac tivity. This disk activity onl y applies to those IDE drive s directly attach ed to the system board.
K8SLI 14 Connectors Floppy Disk Connector: FDC The mainboard provides a standard floppy disk connector (FDC) that supports 360K, 720K, 1 .2M, 1.44M and 2.88M floppy disk ettes. This connector supports th e floppy drive ribbon cables provided in th e packagi ng.
K8SLI 15 Headers & Jumpers Front USB Headers (Y ellow): USB1/ USB2 This mainboard provides 2 USB headers on the board allowing for 4 additional USB por ts. To make use of these headers, you must atta ch a USB bracket/cable with USB ports (some models will come packaged with a USB 4-port bracket-cable).
K8SLI 16 Infrared Header : IrDA (Optional) This IrDA connector can be co nfigured to support wireless inf rared and is used to attach to an infrared sensing devi ce. After the IrDA inter face is configured, y ou can use thi s connector for connectionless data transfer to and from portable devices such as laptops and PDAs.
K8SLI 17 ABS (Albatron BIOS security ) Header: BIOSCN1 This mainboard includ es one ABS header (BIOSCN1) for the A B S card which can prov ide a second BIOS for the mainboard in case the orig inal BIOS is damaged. To set up the jumper on th e ABS card, please refer to f igure1.
K8SLI 18 Clear CMOS Jumper: JP1 The “Clear CMOS” jumper is used when you cannot boot y our system due to some CMOS configuration such as a pas sword that is forgotten.
