Because the receiver attains information it needs from satellites orbiting the earth, the antenna needs to have a relatively unobstructed view of the sky . This allo ws the receiver to choose from all satellites currently available.

As an example, you can save a waypoint at your home. N o matter where you go, you will always be able to navigate back home by using GO T O.
Magellan GPS 315/GPS 320 29 Creating a Backtrack R oute Backtrack creates a r oute that starts from the last point recor ded in track history using the “bread crumbs” sav ed, to the first point recor ded for track history . By following this route, you “ retrace your steps ” back to the starting point.

Magellan GPS 315/GPS 320 37 Selecting Alar m/Message Accessing the Alar m/Messa ge Menu While navigating, you may decide to set an alarm. The receiver has five types of alarms: Anchor alarm, Arriv al alarm, XTE alarm, P roximity alarm and GPS F ix alarm.
