MA G MA Appendix B Need More Slots? 41 Combination Configurati ons Depending on your business requir ements, and your physical s pace limitations, you can add additional E xpansion System in multiple configurations, such as these. These combinati ons are onl y limited by the available slot types: PCIe or PCI.
MA G MA 42 Appendix B Need More Slots? PCI Card Conflicts If you determine that one PCI card is interfering with the operation of another card, first try reorganizin g the cards on the motherboard. Moving the cards ar ound can cha nge the order in which the car ds are configured by the s ystem during power-on.
MA G MA Appendix B Need More Slots? 43 Problems with 3 rd Party cards might only b e trackable once you hav e identified the expa nsion system containin g the problem card.
MA G MA 44 Appendix B Need More Slots? Finding the Problem Card Windows If you need help to determine which PCI card, or which expansio n chassis, has the problem, you can “right-clic k” on the card with th e and check the information containe d in the “Location:” field.
