7 Rear Panel Features RS-422/485 Seri al Interface The RS-422/48 5 ports are used to rem otely control the IMD or al l V-R261-D L W f eatures, using a v ariety of industry stand ard pr otocols. (Note: Connector/pin-ou t may need t o be adapt ed depending on protocol an d controlling device used.

16 ■ Pixel-to-Pixel Mode Use this settin g to enable Pixel- to-Pixel m ode. This m ode bypasses the m onitor’s intern al scaling f unction and displa ys images i n their native reso lution an d as.
17 ■ Curtain Color Use this setting to choose the default color displayed on the screen when no video input is present. Availab le colors are blue , red , green , w hite , and blac k .
18 ■ HDMI CSC A uto (HDMI input only, via the DVI-I interface) The HDMI C SC Auto settin g is used to acc omm odate newer HDMI int erfaces that send co lorspace signa ling in the HDMI data stream . If this setting is set to On , the m onitor will autom atically determ ine which co lorspace setti ng to use.
19 ■ User-Definable Function Buttons Use the Function 1 , Fu nction 2 , Fun ction 3 and Functio n 4 menu item s to defin e each function button on the f ront panel of the m onitor.
20 OSD Config Subm enu Use the OSD C onfiguration subm enu to select a variet y of inform ation to be disp layed on the s creen. ■ IMD State Use this settin g to turn the I MD text displa y on or off . This setting af fects both fixed string IMD te xt and rem ote IMD tex t commands.

22 ■ A nc. Timec ode Use this settin g to enable t im e code display on t he screen. Tim e code is d e-em bedded fr om the vertical anci llary data (VANC) within the HD/ SDI signal. T wo types of tim e code can be selected t o disp lay on the s creen: LT C (linear tim e code) or VITC (v ertical interval time code) .
23 IMD Config Submenu ■ Overview The V-R261-DLW features an In- Monitor Displa y (IMD) with the abilit y to display o n-scr een text and t ally in th ree colors. IMD text, c olor, and alignm ent can be assig ned to each sc reen locall y using m enu options (see be low).
24 . TSL v4.0 Use the TSL v4.0 protoc ol s etting when con trolling the IMD fr om a T SL tally controller, or other c ontrolling device which utilizes the TSL v4.0 protocol. The IM D # m ust be set f or each scr een in conjunctio n with the con trolling device.
25 ■ IMD Baud Rate Use this settin g to choose the b aud rate. T he baud rat e mus t be set in conjuncti on with th e controlling d evice. Availab le baud rates are 300 , 600 , 1 200 , 2400 , 4800 , 96 00 , 19200 , 3840 0 , 57600 , 1 15200 . The T SL v4.
26 ■ IMD Fixed Align Use this settin g to choose the h orizontal alignm ent of t he IMD text. IMD tex t can b e justified on t he lef t , center or right of the screen. This setting is overridden when using IMD text via the Image Video protocol (alignm ent is set via Image Video protocol).
27 ■ 608 Color The EIA-608 caption pr otocol can define the color f or the closed ca ption text. Use t his setting to choose between using the color d efined by the da ta stream or to ov erride this data w ith any of the selected colors. The default setting f or option is Auto.
28 • YUV Overla y The YUV com ponents of the sign al are over laid. • RGB Para de The R (s hown in Red), G ( shown in Gre en) and B ( shown in B lue) com ponents of the si gnal are displayed from left to right. • RGB Overl ay The RGB com ponents of the signal are o verlaid.
29 ■ Colorize Waveform Use the Colorize Waveform option to add or remove color from the W aveform display. W hen Colorize W aveform is ON, the YUV and RGB data components on the W aveform display will appear in different colors. W hen Colori ze W aveform is OFF , al l Y UV and RG B data com ponents will appear as w hite on the W aveform display.
