4 • When the dishwasher is not in use, w e rec comend that you turn off the water supply at the supply t ap and disconnect the main supply . • If you ar e leaving the dishw asher for an ext ended period you should lea ve the door slightly open to pr event the formation of unpleasant smells.
5 C ontr ol P anel P ow er button (1) T o switc h the dishw asher on or off, pr ess the power but ton (1). When you switc h on the dishwasher , the end of pr ogramme light will illuminat e, and two dashes will appear on the displa y. Pr ogr amme displa y (2) The pr ogramme displa y shows the selected pr ogramme and the r emaining time to run.
6 Salt and rinse aid w arning lights and end of pr ogr amme light (5) When the dishwasher salt or rinse aid begins t o run out, the warning light will illuminate to advise that it needs r efilling. When the pr ogramme is c omplete, the dishw asher will emit five beeps and the end of pr ogramme indicat or light will illuminate.
7 Changing a pr ogr amme It is possible to c hange the pr ogramme if nec essary once the pr ogramme has started. • First open the door slightly t o r educe the risk of wat er spillage. • Pr ess the pr ogramme selection but ton until the r equired pr ogramme is shown on the display .
8 Det er gent T o fill the det er gent compartment 1 . Push the latc h to open the compartment. 2. Add the r equir ed amount of deter gent. The main deter gent compartment “b” (figur e 2) has lines to allow f or specific amounts of deter gent. These are marked at either 1 5 cm 3 or 25 cm 3 , to be used depending on how dirty the dishes ar e.
9 Deter gent T o fill the det ergent compartment 1. Push the latch as shown in figur e 1 . 2. Add the r equired amount of det ergent. The main deter gent compartment “b” (figure 2) has lines t o allow for specific amounts of detergent. These ar e marked at either 1 5 cm 3 or 25 cm 3 , to be used depending on how dirty the dishes are.
10 3. Replac e the cap and the lower bask et. When the salt warning light on the contr ol panel illuminates, you should r efill the salt compartment with salt only – do not add wat er to the salt compartment after the fir st use.
11 6. Check the number of marks on the strip t o see the level of wat er har dness. If the har dness of the water y ou use is above 63 dE or if y ou ar e using well water; y ou ar e r ecommended t o contact y our local water boar d to confirm the water har dness level and to use filt er and water r efinement devices.
12 Rinse Aid T o fill the rinse aid compartment 1. Open the rinse aid compartment by turning and r emoving the cap as shown in figur e 4. 2. Fill the rinse aid compartment until the rinse aid indicator goes dark, as shown in figur e 5 (where a indicates the c ompartment is empty , and “b” indicates the compartment is full).
13 Dishw asher Bask ets T o adjust the height of the upper basket: 1 . Open the basket r etaining clips, as shown in figur e 9, but turning them to the side. 2. Remov e the upper basket, and r elocate the alternate set of wheels on the runner , as shown in figur e 1 0, pushing the basket bac k into place.
14 S tandar d loading and T est Data Capacity • Upper and lower bask ets: 1 2 place settings. • The upper basket should be adjusted t o high position.
15 Pr ogr amme Listing The values and times pr ovided above ha ve been obtained under laborat ory conditions accor ding to r elevant standar ds. Actual r esults obtained can vary depending on the conditions of the dishwasher’s use and envir onment. (mains supply voltage, water pr essur e, water input temper atur e and envir onment temper atur e).

17 Please not e: Never run a pr ogr amme without the filter s in place. Incorr ect fitting of the filt ers ma y reduc e w ash performanc e and pot entially damage your appliance. Spr a y arms Y ou should clean the spr ay arms at least onc e a month.

20 Electrical inf ormation W arning! This appliance must be earthed. The mains lead of this appliance has been fitt ed with a BS 1 363A 1 3 amp fused plug. T o change a fuse in this type of plug, follow the st eps below: 1 . R emove the fuse cov er and fuse.
21 As the colour s of the wir es in the mains lead of this appliance ma y not corr espond with the colour ed markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as f ollows:- • The wir e.
22 Installation • Do not install this appliance if it is damaged in any wa y. Installing a damaged appliance ma y invalidat e the warr anty. • The water supply t ap should be located in an adjacent cupboar d so that it can be accessed aft er installation.
23 • T o pr event siphoning, ensure that the w ater outlet is not pushed too far into the wast e standpipe. The low est part of the wat er outlet should be level with the bott om basket of the dish washer . • When connecting to the sink, ensur e that the waste pipe runs higher than the level of the sink bowl to pr event siphoning.
