A seat bel t used in this way can ’ t spread the imp act forces properly and the two passengers could be crushed together and s eriously injur ed or even killed.

The front passenger ’ s seat is clearly the worst choice for any child under 1 2, and with rear-f acin g child-restra int systems it is clearly unsafe due to ai r bags.

Click ing from the retractor will be heard during retraction if the sy stem is in the automatic locking mode.

Neither is likely to cause injury , howe ver , the texture of the air bags may cause light skin injuri es on body parts not covered with clothing through friction.

Here ’ s what the key s are used for: If you mus t leav e your v ehicle with another per s on, such as a parking attendant, protect item s by l ocking the glo ve box, st orage box and trunk l id with the master ke y .

If someone attempts to start th e engine with an unrecognized key , the engine will not start, thereby helping to prev ent the theft of you r vehicle.
