W arning and Safety instructions 14 Using a fragr ance flacon (optional accessor y) Only use genuine Miele original fr agrance flacons. The fr agrance flacon must be st ored in its packaging so please make sur e you retain this. Caution. The fr agr ance can leak out of the flacon.

EcoF eedback 20 Y ou can use the EcoF eedback sensor to call up information about the ener gy consumption of your dryer . T ouching the EcoF eedback sensor will call up two types of information: – an estimate of the consumption be‐ fore the pr ogramme begins – the energy consumption during the progr amme.

2. L oad the tumble dr yer 23 It is essential to read "1. Notes on correct laundry care" first of all. Press the butt on to switch the dryer on. The interior drum lighting will come on. The interior drum lighting will automat‐ ically go out after a few minutes and/or after the start of a pr ogramme to save ener gy .
3. Select a progr amme and start it 24 Select a progr amme T urn the progr amme selector . Different pr ogrammes and setting op‐ tions will light up in the display, de‐ pending on the position of the pro‐ gramme select or .

The condensed water container must therefor e be filled with water up to at least the –min– marker .
Cleaning and care 40 Fluff filters This tumble dryer has 2 fluff filters in the door opening: the upper and lower fluff filters tr ap fluff produced during the drying process. Removing visible fluff Remove any fluff after every drying cycle. Tip: Y ou can also use a vacuum cleaner so that you can remove the fluff without touching it.
Cleaning and care 41 Cleaning the fluff filters and air flow openings thoroughly If the drying duration has become longer or the surface of the filters is visibly compacted with fluff, you should carry out the following clean‐ ing procedur e. If using a fr agrance flacon make sure you r emove it beforehand.
