4. Adding detergent Use detergent according to the laundry soiling and water hardness. Too little detergent may cause: – ineffective cleaning of laundry; fabrics may become gray and stiff over time. – grease stains on the laundry. – hard water deposits on the heating element.
Using powder detergent Liquid detergent inserts come already inserted in the detergent compartments. To use powder detergent remove the inserts. ^ Remove the inserts from both compartments j and i .
5. Starting a program "Start" flashes when a program can be started. ^ Press the "Start" button. The "Start" button lights. The display shows the approximate program run time. It will count down in minutes. In the first 10 minutes the washer calculates the water absorbency of the laundry.
To cancel a program A program can be canceled any time after the program start. ^ Press the G button "Cancel". The wash water will be drained away. ^ Open the drum door before starting a new program.
