8 1. Remov e the saucepan from the heat. 2. T o av oid ex cessive splashing, place the Blending Leg (4) into the food bef ore switching the Hand Blender on. 3. Hold the pan steady with your other hand and press the On Button (2) . Do not use the T urbo Button.
9 • When blending foods with str ong colour (eg. cooked carrots), the plastic parts of the appliance may become discolour ed. Wipe with cooking oil to clean any discolour ed par ts. • When blending using the Blending Leg (4) , star t the process b y plunging the blender into the ingredients.
