GB 19 RECORDING Chapter 3 Recordings NUMBERING TRACKS The tracks can be numbered automatically (auto mode) or manually (manual mode). AUTO MODE Auto mode can be used with either digital or analog recor ding. The auto mode will add track numbers automatically , in one of two ways.
GB 20 FINALIZA TION Recordings Chapter 3 Finalization completes the recor ding of a disc so that it can be played in other machines. PRECAUTION • Once a CD-R disc is finalized, the disc cannot be unfinalized. • A CD-RW disc can be unfinalized. • During the finalization process, never switch the power of f, or the disc may be damaged.
GB 21 FINALIZA TION Chapter 3 Recordings ERASING AN ENTIRE CD-RW DISC An entire disc erase facility is available for both finalized and unfinalized CD-RW disc. 1 Load the CD-RW disc to be erased on the r ecord tray . 2 Press ERASE on the fr ont panel or remote control r epeatedly until “ALL” is displayed.
