E – 19 3. BASIC OPERA TION Connecting the Power Cable and T urn on the Projector Before y ou turn on your projector , ensure that the computer or video source is tur ned on and that y our lens cap is removed. 1. Connect the supplied pow er cable to the projector .
E – 20 T o turn of f the projector: First press the P ower (ON/ST ANDBY) button on the projector cabinet or the POER OFF b utton on the remote control for a minimum of tw o seconds. The po wer indicator will glow or ange. After the projector tur ns off , the cooling fans k eep operating for ONE min ute.
E – 21 Set up the projector 1. T urn on the pr ojector 2. Select your type of pr ojection: Desktop fr ont, ceiling r ear , desktop r ear , and ceiling fr ont. 3. Display the test pattern by pr essing the TEST button on the r e- mote contr ol or using the menu.
