13 6 RGB Input 1 Connector (D-Sub 15 pin) Connect your PC or other RGB equipment such as IBM or compat- ible computers. Use the NEC MultiCable that's supplied to connect to a PC. RGB 1 A udio Input Mini Jack This is where you connect RGB audio output from a computer or another RGB source.
14 Remote Control Features Y ou can use your remote control with the cable or wireless to operate your MultiSync MT1000 LCD Pr ojector . W ith the remote mouse recei ver connected to y our computer, you can also use the pr ojector's remote control to oper a te your computer's mouse wireless, too.
15 NOTE : You cannot use Menu and Position at the same time. Remote Control Precautions • Do not look into the laser pointer while it is on. • Do not point the laser beam at a person. • When the ca ble is connected to the remote control, it will not work in the wireless mode.

20 3. Use the MultiCable that's supplied to connect your PC or Macintosh computer to the LCD pr ojector . F or a PC, use the smaller 15-pin connector on the cab le to connect to y our computer's video port; use the larg er 15-pin connector on the ca ble to connect to the pr ojector's RGB 1 input.
21 Changing Video Resolutions Depending on your computer's gr aphic capability , you may be able to select one of se veral resolutions. Gener ally a computer- either a PC or Macintosh- with 1 meg. of memor y will run: 640 2 480 at 16.7 million color s (24 bit T ruecolor) 800 2 600 at 65 thousand colors.
22 Connecting Y our Document Camera Y ou can connect your MultiSync MT1000 LCD Pr ojector to a document camera. T o do so, simply: 1. 23 Connecting Y our Remote Mouse Receiver The r emote mouse recei v er ena b les you to operate your computer's mouse functions from the NEC MultiSync MT1000 r emote control. It is a gr ea t con v enience for clicking through your computer - generated presentations.

Replacing The Lamp After your lamp has been operating for 2000 hours or longer , the “status” light in the cabinet will go on.
33 Cleaning Or Replacing The Filter The air-filter sponge keeps the inside of the MultiSync MT1000 LCD Projector free from dust or dirt and should be cleaned after every 100 hours of operation (more often in dusty conditions). If the filter is dirty or clogged, your projector may overheat.
