Chapter 1 1 Overview Aspire T130 will use AK32 (Aspire T310) chassis. It will be a lo w cost K8 solution with memory card reader and firewire solution. Aspire T130 is a versatile, high- power system, supporting AMD K8 CPUs (754). The computer uses Peripheral Component Interface (PCI) and Accele rated Graphics Port (AGP) design.

35 Chapter 2 Power Management Setup This option lets you control system power manag ement. The system has various power-saving modes including powering down the hard disk, turning off the video, suspending to RAM, and software power down that allows the system to b e automatically resumed b y certain events.

39 Chapter 2 PnP/PCI Configurations These options configure how PnP (Plug and Play) and PCI expansion cards operate in your system. Both the ISA and PCI buses on the mainboard us e system IRQs (Interrupt ReQuests) and DMAs (Direct Memory Access).

CAUTION: Before you proceed, make sure you have turned off the system and all peripherals connected to it.
