EN-16 Connecting a computer or monitor Connecting a computer The projecto r provides tw o VGA input sockets that allow you to conn ect them to both IBM ® compatibles a nd Macintosh ® computers. A Mac adapter is needed if you are connecting legacy version Macintosh comp uters.

EN-18 Connecting an HDMI source device Examine your Vi deo source device to determin e if it has a set of unused HDMI output jacks available: If so, you can continue with this procedure. If not, you will need to reassess which method you can use to connect to the device.

EN-21 Operation Powering On/Off the Projector Powering On the Projector: 1. Complete t he AC power cor d and periph eral signal cab le(s) connec tions. 2. Press to turn on the projector . The projector t akes a minute or so to warm up. 3. T urn on your source (computer , notebook, DVD, etc.
EN-22 Adjusting the Projector Height The projector is equippe d with an elevator foot to adjust the ima ge height. T o raise or lower the image, turn the el evator foot to fi ne-tune the height. Note T o avo id damaging the proj ector , make sure that t he elevator foot is fully retr acted before placing the proj ector in its carrying case.
EN-23 Adjusting Projection Image Size Refer to the graphic a nd table below to d etermine the sc reen size and projection distance. Note Position the pr ojector in a hori zontal positio n; other positions can cause h eat build-up and damage to the projecto r.
EN-24 Menu Operation The projector has mu ltilingual on-scree n display menus that allow you to make image adjustment s and change a variety of settings. How to operate 1. Press MENU on the projector or Menu on the remote control to open the OSD menu.
