Installation inst ructions 6 2.1 Water supply connectio n Preventing the risk of clo gging or damage: if the water pipe is new or has not been used for a long time, before connecting to th e water supply check t hat the water is cle ar and free of impuri ties, to prevent damage to the appliance.

User instructio ns 12 3.2 Washing program mes Before starting a washing program make sure that: • The water supply tap/valve is open. • The correct amount of detergent has been added to the dispenser . • The baskets have been correctly loaded. • The spray arms are able to rotate freel y and without obstruction.
User instruction s 13 HALF LOAD Suitable when th ere are not many dis hes to be washed, it saves e nergy and reduces the program d uration. Place dish es i n both baskets then load the detergent dispenser than l ess than the n ormal amount for a f ull load.
User instructio ns 14 CHANGING THE PROGRAM To ch ange the p rogram in p rogress, simply open the door and select a new program. W hen the door is closed the dish washer will automatically select the new program. User instruction s 15 If the door has to be opened whi le washi ng is in progress, the program will be in terrupted. The relative light wi ll keep flashing and a beepe r will signal that the cyc le has not been c ompleted. You must wait about 1 minute b efore closing the door to restart the p rogram.
User instructio ns 16 4. O perating instructions Once the dishwasher has been correctl y installed, prepare for use as follows: • Adjust the water softening system; • Add the regenerating salt; • Adjust the rinse aid dispenser setting; • Add the rinse aid and detergent.
User instruction s 17 • Do not use table salt as it c ontains insoluble substances which, over time, may damage the water softening system. • When necessary, refill the regenerating salt container before starting the washing program .

User instruction s 19 ADDING THE RINSE AID The rinse aid he lps the dishes dry faster a nd prevents the formati on of scale deposits a nd staining; it is automatically adde d to the water during the final rinse cycle, from the container situated on the inner side of the door.
User instructio ns 20 ADDING THE DETERGENT To o pen the detergent d ispenser cap, lightly press the button P . Ad d the detergent and close th e cap carefully.
User instruction s 21 The introduction of detergent into the rinse ai d dispenser, e ven in liquid form, will damage the dishwasher. 4.3 General warnings and recommend ations Before using th e dishwasher for the fi rst t ime, it is advisable to read t he following recommendations conc erning d ish types to be washe d a nd their loading.
User instructio ns 22 WARNING! • Make sure that the d ishes are securely in p lace so that they ca nnot tip ov er or o bstruct the rot ation of th e spray arm s during the washing cycle. • Do not place very small objects in the baskets as these could fall and obstruct the spray arms or the wash pump.
User instruction s 23 4.4 Using the baskets The dishwasher has a capacity of 13 place-settings , including serving dishes. LOWER BASKET The lower basket receives the full force of the lower spray arm, and should therefore b e used for the “toughest ” items with a heavier d egree of soiling.
User instructio ns 24 LOADING THE LOWER BASKET Carefully load flat plates, soup plates, dessert an d serving dishes, positioning them vertically. Pots, pans and their co vers must be l oaded upside down. W hen loading soup plates a nd dessert bowls, be s ure to leave a gap between them.
User instruction s 25 TOP CUTLERY BASKET The b asket is designed to take cutlery, placed in the spaces provided, long utensils, positioned lengthwise and smal l items. The “dra wer” extraction system makes th e basket e asier to load, but it can also be taken completely off its runners by rem oving the retainers (as shown here).
User instructio ns 26 CUTLERY BASKET The ba sket has removable top grids into which items of cutlery should be inserted to keep them properl y spaced and allow water to pass between them effectively. The top grids and central li d are in the bag of accessories .
User instruction s 27 UPPER BASKET It is recommended to load the u pper basket with small- or medi um-sized items s uch as glasses, small plates, tea or coffee cups, shallow bo wls and light objects made from heat resistant plastic.
