1 This document w ill help you in o rder to upgrade your Hands-free car kit over Bluetooth. Car kit upgrades are needed to improve the compat ibility of your Parrot device, by allowing you to use more phones with your kit. It can also allow y ou to get new functionali ties.
2 3. Select Car kits and click Next . ► The follow ing dialog box is displa yed. 4. Select the Parrot MK60 00 in the list and click Next . ► The follow ing dialog box is displa yed. 5. Click on Download La test version . ► The Downlo ad Software Update dialog box is displa yed.
3 6. Select your language and activate the Wi th Text-To -Speech option if it is av ailable. Activating the W ith T ext-To-Speech o ption allows you to activate the reading cont acts feature via the s ynthetic voice of the cark it.
4 2.1 By serial cable Before you begin: • Download the up grade you wish to instal l. • Connect your c omputer to your carkit via t he serial c able. • Keep the MK6 000 off . 1. Start the Parrot Soft ware Update Tool and cli ck Next . 2. Choose the Parrot MK6000 and clic k Next .
5 2.2 By Bluetooth (M ethod A) 2.2.1 Using stack T o shiba Before you begin: • Download the up grade you wish to instal l. • Make sur e that your Bluetooth d evice is corr ectly instal led on your com puter (refer to its user guide for additio nal inform ation).
6 4. Enter the Bluetooth PIN code : « 0000 » and click OK . ► The Bluetooth serv ices supported by the Pa rrot MK600 0 are now listed. 4. Select UPDA TE and click Next . ► An outgoing COM Port is provide d by the Bluetooth softwa re during the connection .
7 9. Select the right C OM port, whi ch has been previously assigned (COM40 in our ex ample) and click Next . 10. W ai t while the Parrot So ftware Update Too l is passing the di fferent upgrade steps and Finish .
8 Wait for the automa tic reboot of the k it. Do not stop the po wer source! This operation can ta kes few minutes. ► Your Parrot M K6000 is now up to date. 2.2.1 Using stack Broadcom and Mic rosoft Before you begin: • Download the up grade you wish to instal l.

Select your Parrot M K6000 and click Next . ► The follow ing window is display ed. 4. Select Le t me choos e my own passkey then enter t he Blue tooth PIN code : « 0000 » and click Next .
10 5. W ait until the connec tion is established then click Finish . 6. An outgoing C OM Port i s provided by the Bluetooth software during t he connection. In ou r example the out going COM Port is numbe r 46. W rite this number down, it will be req uired in the P arrot Flash Upda te W izard.

12 2.2 By Bluetooth (M ethod B) Use the follow ing method only if y our computer is equipped w ith the Broadcom o r the Microsoft stac ks. Before you begin: • Make sure that your Blueto oth equipm ent is correctl y installed. • Download the up grade file you wish to insta ll.
