1 A. INST ALLA TION CLEARANCE F ollow the installation instructions provided in this manual in the order shown. The order of these instructions has been set in order to provide the installer with a logical sequence of steps that will minimize potential interferences and maximize safety during boiler installation.
2 A. CLEARANCES Unit may be installed on combustible flooring, provided the boiler is not set on carpet and a metal drip pan is placed under the appliance. Unit may be installed in a closet with the above clearances. See also Section B, Air for Combustion and V entilation.
3 C. CHIMNEY / VENT AND DRAFT CONTROL 1. Draft Requirement – Minimum draft r equired in the vent system is -.03" to -.05" W .C. depending on boiler model, see T able 7.1 (Section 7). This draft is necessary to provide the necessar y draft over fire of -.
4 A. SETTING THE BOILER 1. Provide a level foundation, located as close as possible to the center of the heating system. 2. Refer to Figur e 2.2 for exploded view of boiler while checking and/or assembling parts of the boiler . 3. See clearance information in Section 1, "Pr einstallation.

6 A. PRESSURE TEST BLOCK ASSEMBL Y 1. Make up cold water supply connection to the boiler . 2. Install pressur e gauge or pressure-temperatur e gauge in tapping provided. See Boiler Dimensional drawing, Figur e 7.1 (Section 7). 3. Plug all open tappings in the boiler and fill with water .
7 D . WA TER BOILER PIPING 1. Refer to the W ater Installation Sur vey and Hydronics Institute Residential Hydronic Heating Installation/Design Guide for Guidance. 2. The supply and return connections should be sized to suit the system. 3. Pipe the supply and r etur n in one of two ways as shown in Figur e 3.
8 E. T ANKLESS HEA TER OR COVERPLA TE 1. If a tankless coil is used (item 13 or 17), install as pictured. On water boilers, install in opening in front section. On steam boilers, install in opening in rear section. F or suggested piping of tankless water heaters refer to F igures 3.
9 F . CONTROLS 1. W ater Boiler Controls: Install the limit / operating control, pressur e- temperature gauge and safety r elief valve. See Figure 7.1 (Section 7) for proper location. F or installations subject to UL726, a second operating control that senses water temperature is also r equired (not provided).
10 A. GENERAL All electrical wiring shall be done in accordance with the National Electrical Code and Local Requirements. Single pole switches including those of safety controls or protective devices shall not be wired in a grounded line. B. BURNER WIRING 1.

18 MAINTENANCE A. GENERAL 1. Check pipes adjacent to cold walls or in unheated spaces. Insulate and tape them if necessary to be sure they can't fr eeze up.
19 MAINTENANCE 3. Remove any scale or soot from the combustion chamber area by vacuum cleaning or any other available means. 4. Replace flue collector and close burner mounting plate, making sure all gaskets ar e in place. 5. Replace jacket top panel.

Als u nog geen PB Heat ECT Series heb gekocht dan nu is een goed moment om kennis te maken met de basisgegevens van het product. Eerst kijk dan naar de eerste pagina\'s van de handleiding, die je hierboven vindt. Je moet daar de belangrijkste technische gegevens PB Heat ECT Series vinden. Op dit manier kan je controleren of het apparaat aan jouw behoeften voldoet. Op de volgende pagina's van de handleiding PB Heat ECT Series leer je over alle kenmerken van het product en krijg je informatie over de werking. De informatie die je over PB Heat ECT Series krijgt, zal je zeker helpen om een besluit over de aankoop te nemen.
In een situatie waarin je al een beziter van PB Heat ECT Series bent, maar toch heb je de instructies niet gelezen, moet je het doen voor de hierboven beschreven redenen. Je zult dan weten of je goed de alle beschikbare functies heb gebruikt, en of je fouten heb gemaakt die het leven van de PB Heat ECT Series kunnen verkorten.
Maar de belangrijkste taak van de handleiding is om de gebruiker bij het oplossen van problemen te helpen met PB Heat ECT Series . Bijna altijd, zal je daar het vinden Troubleshooting met de meest voorkomende storingen en defecten #MANUAl# samen met de instructies over hun opplosinge. Zelfs als je zelf niet kan om het probleem op te lossen, zal de instructie je de weg wijzen naar verdere andere procedure, bijv. door contact met de klantenservice of het dichtstbijzijnde servicecentrum.
