Each audio connection on the CAB ™ 16i and 16o is a single three-wire, balanced analog circuit. The connections on both of these units is identical, except one is an input, the other an output.

Again, the impedance of the CAB 16d must be matched to properly terminate to the S/PDIF input. This is accomplished by using a 22 Ohm resistor across the output of the CAB 16d.
