Getting started 7 T elephone install ation Option 2: If you have two one-line wall jacks, install y our telephone base as shown below . Plug one end of the clear telephone line cord (2-conduct or) into the jack labeled LINE 1/L1+L2 on the back of the telephone base.
Getting started 8 Data port If you want to connect another devic e (such as a modem or fax machine) t o the wall jack, use the jack labeled D A T A on the back of the telephone base.
Getting started 9 Install ation options If you want to mount your t elephone on a wall, connect the tel ephone base to a standar d dual-stud telephone wall mounting plat e. If you do not have this mounting plate, you can pur chase one from many har dware or c onsumer electronics r etailers.
Getting started 10 Plug the coiled handset cor d into the handset and the t elephone base. Plug the small end of the power adapter cor d into the power jack on the back of the telephone base. Plug the telephone line cor ds into the wall jacks. Option 1: If you have a single two-line wall jack, use onl y the black telephone line cor d (4-conductor).

Getting started 13 Optional headset Y ou can use this tel ephone hands free when you inst all any industry standard 2.5mm corded t elephone headset (purchased separ ately). The t elephone plays an error t one if you pr ess HEADSET when a headset is not plugged into the headset jack.

36 T elephone operation Chain dialing Use this feature t o initiate a dialing sequence fr om numbers stor ed in the directory , speed dial memory, call history or r edial while you ar e on a call. Chain dialing can be useful if you wish to dial other number s (such as bank account numbers or ac cess codes) during a call.
37 Speed dial memory overview This telephone has 18 speed dial locations f or storing telephone number s. Y ou can stor e up to 24 digits in each l ocation. The first nine locations can be accessed b y using only the speed dial k eys. T o access the r emaining nine locations, press L OWER and then the speed dial key f or the desired location.

Als u nog geen AT&T ML17939 heb gekocht dan nu is een goed moment om kennis te maken met de basisgegevens van het product. Eerst kijk dan naar de eerste pagina\'s van de handleiding, die je hierboven vindt. Je moet daar de belangrijkste technische gegevens AT&T ML17939 vinden.
