Getting Star ted IN THIS CHAPTER … Y ou will learn how to prepare the De vice to work and about main control f eatures. CHAR GING BA T TER Y T o ext end battery lif etime, it’ s recommended t o charge the De vice for the rst time from 8 to 12 hours in the off state.
Getting Started 16 2 . When the battery is fully charged, indicator turns solid orange. Now you can disc onnect the De - vice and turn it on f or the rst use. If the Devic e is on when you c onnect the cable to PC, a dialog window asking t o select action – PC link or Charge – will appear .
Getting Started 17 MODES OF DEVICE OPER A TION Normal operating mode is the main mode of De vice operation. Green light of indicat or signalizes about power c onsumption (e.g. screen refresh, network conne ction or music playback). Sleep mode is the pow er-saving mode of operation.

Getting Started 21 For the most precise De vice c ontrol by stylus, it’ s rec ommended to hold it perpendicularly t o the screen (within 15 degrees), as it shown on a gure. Using the stylus on a scratched or dirty touch screen can cause error of positioning up to 10%.
Getting Started 22 W ORKING WITH ON - SCREEN KEYBOARD On-screen ke yboard is used when it’ s necessary to enter te xt information, for e xample, for search or network connection credentials. T o type a symbol, select it with navigation k eys and press OK , or press symbol or control k ey with stylus.

Software 61 T o delete the fe ed, select it, open the cont ext menu (by pressing the Menu button) and select the Delete command. T o edit the feed, sele ct it , open the conte xt menu (by pressing the Menu button) and select Edit command. Edit the feed address using the on-scre en ke yboard.
Software 62 News Archive : by selecting this option you can choose to read the pre viously stored updating RSS feeds. Browser Application for vie wing web-pages. After opening the browser , you will be asked t o connect to one o f the available networks.
