2 2 Package Contents In-wall Speak er T emplate / Paint Mask User’ s Guide Quic k Start Featur es Mount your speak er flush with the ceiling or wall with the wing-type mounting system. The frame and grille can be painted to matc h the room’ s decor .
3 3 1. Remo ve the inner cardboard disc from the supplied template/paint mask and keep it f or later . Use the outer portion of the mask as a template to mark the cutout hole size and location f or mounting the speaker . 2. Use a dr ywall or k eyhole saw to cut the hole.
4 4 3 Mount the speaker 1. Remo ve the grille to e xpose the mounting screws. 2. Be sure the mounting tabs are turned in, allo wing the speaker to fit into the hole. Then insert the speak er into the mounting hole. 3. Tighten the six screws to secure the mounting tabs to the wall or ceiling.
5 5 Painting the speaker (optional) Bef ore you connect the speak er wire or mount the speaker , you can paint the frame and grille. 1.
