5 Plann ing th e inst allat ion When planning the installa tion and choosing locations for the antenna and receiver, consid er the following poin ts: Receiver Protect from extremes of temperature. DO NOT place near an engine, or where fuel vapor could be present.

7 Instal lin g the system The following section gives details of how to install your SR100 Sirius Weather receiver and ant enna. Receiver The receiver should be installed a minimum of 3 ft.

9 Using the gasket a s a template mark the ce nter hole and 3 fixing holes. Use a 9/16” drill bit to drill the center hole and a 7/64” drill bit to make pilot holes for the fixing screws. Fix the mounting ga sket and flange into position using the supplied screw s.

11 The power conne ction for your system should be made a t either the o utput of the battery i solator switch, or a t a DC power distribu tion panel. The power must be fed direct ly to the system through its own dedicated cable system and MUST be protecte d by a thermal circuit breake r or fuse, insta lled clos e to the powe r connec tion A 10 ft.
