4 Section 3 User Interface Specifications This user syst em interface board has the function that masks the chip select signals (CS0 and CS1), bus reques t signal (BR EQ), and wait input signal (WAIT) depending on the setting of a switch.

6 Section 4 Connection Procedures 4.1 Connecting User System Int erface Board to User System W ARNING Always switch OFF the user syst em and the emulator product before the USER SYSTEM INTERFACE BOARD is connect ed to or removed from any part. Before connect ing, make sure that pin 1 on both sides are correctly aligned.
7 4.1.2 Installing Ca ble Head CA UTION Check the location of pin 1 before inserting. Align pin 1 on the IC socket for a PLQP0100KB-A package on t he user system with pin 1 on t he user system interface board, and ins ert the user system interface board into the IC socket on the user syst em, as shown i n figure 4.
