13 This drill has an electr ic brake . When the trigger switch is released, the chuck stops turning. When the brake is functioning properly , spar ks will be visible through the v ent slots on the housing. This is normal and is the action of the bra ke .
14 22 18 16 20 R INSTALLING BITS See Figures 9 and 10. Lock the switch trigger by placing the direction of rotation selector in center position. See Figure 4. Open or close chuck jaws to a point where the opening is slightly larger than the bit size you intend to use.
