5 Battery operation 1. Remove the Battery cover on the rear of the unit by pushing the catches as shown. 2. Insert four LR20 (D size) batteries into the spaces in the compart - ment. T ake care to ensure all batteries are inserted with the correct polarity as shown inside the battery compartment.

Place your radio on a at surface. Insert the adaptor plug into the DC socket located on the left hand of your radio.
Operating your radio - DAB 1. Fully extend the telescopic aerial. The aerial should be fully ex- tended and positioned for optimum reception. 2. Press the Power/Standby button to switch on your radio. 3. If the radio has been used before, the last used mode will be selected.

4 4 SD Card Format Formatting your SD card erases any previously recorded les. It also allows an SD card formatted on another device to be re-formatted for use on your radio. The SD card can be formatted in DAB, FM and Playlist mode.

Y ou have two clock setting options, you can either select the clock to automatically update from the DAB and FM or you can update the clock manually .
