5 Battery operation 1. Remove the Battery cover on the rear of the unit by pushing battery door in and downwards. 2. Insert six LR20 (D size) batteries into the spaces in the compartment. T ake care to ensure all batteries are inserted with the correct polarity as shown inside the battery compartment.

15 Using an SD memory card with your radio An SD card can be used in your radio for recording, playing back previously recorded radio programs, or playing back MP2/MP3/WMA fi les transferred from a PC.
