10 PREP ARA TION To open the remote control cover, push the top of the cover, then slide downward. Insert Remote Batteries The remote control can be used up to approximately 23 feet/7 meters in a straight line. It can also be operated at a horizontal angle of up to 30° from the remote control sensor.
Speaker Assembly Method The speakers can be installed on stands or a wall, depending whether the RRSS or SDSM speaker installation configuration is used. Read the following instructions on speaker assembly carefully and install the speakers correctly.
• Sound comes out whether you connect either of Front Speaker and Front Stand. Select one to connect the speaker wire. • If you assemble Front Speaker and Front Stand, it is recommended to connect the speaker wire to the rear of front stand for clean wire arrangement.

14 Installing speakers in the SDSM (Super Digital Sound Master) Configuration using stands Installing the Front and Rear speakers on stands Follow the instructions and install the speakers as shown below. Install the front speaker on the front stand. 1 Turn the screw on the rear of front speaker to fasten it.

17 Subwoofer • The position of the subwoofer is not so critical. Place it anywhere you like. • Usually, it is placed by a corner near the front speakers. Front/Rear Speakers / • Place these speakers in front of your listening position, facing inwards (about 45°) toward you.

20 CONNECTIONS • If you connect the HDMI and Component outputs (P R , P B , Y) at the same time, the Component output resolution changes automatically to the designated HDMI resolution.

Otherwise, change the setting according to the table. • Setting CENTER SPEAKER If the distance of Dc is equal to or longer than the distance of Df in the figure, set the mode as 0ms.
