5 Batter y Y our device is powered by a recharg eable, standard Li-Ion battery . A Wall/USB Charger (Cha rging Head and USB cable) are included with the device for charging the battery . Note: The battery comes partially charged. Y ou must fully charge the battery before using your device for the first time.

Vir tual QWERTY K eyboard Y our device uses a virtual QWERTY keyboard for text entry . Use the keyboard to enter letters, punctuation, numbers, and other characters int o text entry fields or applications.
Entering T ext 34 Changing the Input Method When entering text, you can se lect the text input method. 1. T ouc h Configure input methods in the Status bar . The Configure input methods pop-up displays. 2. T ouch an inpu t method to ac tivate it. 3. T ouch to display th at input method’ s settings.
35 • Accented characters : Just glide through the letters of the w ord. Swype usually recognizes the word and correctly accents the lette rs. • Error correction : If you make a mistake, doub le-tap on the word you want to change. Configuring Sw ype Configure Swype to your preferences.
Entering T ext 36 Entering T ext Using the Samsung K eypad The Samsung Keypad is a custom virtual QWE RTY keyboard, featuring predictive text. Input characters by touch ing the on-screen keys with your fi nger or use speech recognition. As you enter characters, predi c tive text matches your key touches to common words and di s plays them.
