English - 17 04 MAINTENANCE Maintenance EMPTYING THE DUST BIN • Empty the dust bin when dust reaches the 'MAX' mark. • T ake the dust bin out by pushing the button on the handle. 1 • T o empty the dust bin, hold the dust bin over a garbage can, and then push the button near the bottom of the bin.

English - 19 04 MAINTENANCE CLEANING THE PREMOTOR FIL TER • Pull the dust bin cover to open. 1 • Remove the filter from the dust bin. 2 • Shake the filter to remove dust, and then wash the filter . 3 • Leave the filter in the shade until completely dry.
English - 20 • Put the filter into the dust bin. 5 Check the filter regularly and wash every 1~2 months. Make sure the filter is completely dry befor e putting it back into the vacuum cleaner . Allow it to dry for 12 hours. Do not use a wet filter Replace the dust filter if it becomes damaged or deformed.
English - 21 04 MAINTENANCE CLEANING THE FIL TER • T ake the dust bin out by pushing the button on the handle. 1 • Remove the filter cover . 2 • Separate the filter from the vacuum's body. 3 • Shake the filter to remove dust.
English - 22 • Re-insert the filter into the vacuum's body. 5 • Re-assemble the filter and filter cover . 6 Click • Re-attach the dust bin to the vacuum. 7 The dust bin will not re-attach to the vacuum if the filter cover is not installed correctly.
English - 23 04 MAINTENANCE CHECKING BRUSH • T urn off and unplug the vaccum. Lie the vaccum down so its bottom is accessible as shown. 1 • Carefully cut of f any hair or string caught in the brush. 2 CAUTION Before inspecting the brush bar , tur n off the brush bar and unplug the vacuum.
English - 24 CHECKING FOR CLOGS • Place a foot on the brush, and then tilt the handle back gently to release the lock. 1 • Push the release button on the brush housing, and then pull the hose out. 2 • Check for clogs in the opening of the brush housing and in the hose.
