68 How to properly use the battery pack or the batteries For battery pack ope ration, only us e the BA 2015 battery pack in order to ensure optimum operat ional reliabil ity. Batteries and recha rgeable battery cells have different di scharging curves.
69 Attaching and positioning the microphones The MKE 2015 -2 clip-o n microphon e (supplied) and the MKE 2015-0 plug- on microphone ( optional accessory) are omni-directional an d pick up sound equally from all directions. They are the best choice i f movements of the speaker’s head have to be compensa ted for.
70 Connecting audio source s to the t ransmitter You can c onnect audio sources such as a CD play er, a television , or the soun d card of a comp uter to the line i nput of the tra nsmitter. Connect the 3.5 mm jack plug o f the connecting cable to th e transmit- ter’s 3.

73 Adjusting the level of the received audio signal You can adjust the level of the received audio signal (e.g. the voice of the speaker) in 64 steps. Use the / rocker butto n (UP/DOWN ) to adjust the le vel of the received audio sig nal so that you can hear th e speaker loud and clear.
74 Displaying the frequency You can display the frequency stored in the sel ected channel. If you operat e your system on one of t he channels with a freel y selectable frequency (channel bank “U ”), this featur e is very import ant as it allows y ou to check if the transm itter and the receiver a re set to th e same frequ ency.

76 Using the transmitter Switching the transmitter on/off Press the ON / OFF button to switch the tr ansmitter on . The name of the transm itter is d isplayed fo r approx. three seconds and then switches to the standard display. To switch the transmitter off, press the ON / OFF button until “OFF” appears on the display.
77 Activating/deactivating the lock mode The transm itter has a lock mode th at prevents ac cidental pro gramming or switching the power off during ope ratio n. However, you can still mute the microphone. Press the SET button . Press the button (DOW N) .
