- 3 - MICRO W A VE Intended Use This appliance is intended for the heating up and preparation of foodstuffs according to the described procedures. Any modifications to the appliance shall be deemed to be improper use and implies substantial danger of accidents.
- 4 - • Only use this appliance for its intended purpose as described in this manual. Do not use any caustic chemicals or vapours in this appliance. This micr o- wave ov en is especially designed for the heating, cooking, grilling or dr ying of foodstuf fs.
- 5 - • Do not use the micr owave ov en to warm up cushions filled with kernels, c herr y stones or gels. Risk of fire! • Do not use the micr owave ov en for storing food- stuf fs or other objects. • Do not ex ceed the cooking times detailed by the manufacturer .
- 6 - - If possible, place a glass rod in the fluid for as long as it is being heated. - T o avoid an unexpected r eboiling, leave the fluid to stand in the microwave o ven for ca. 20 seconds after being warmed up. • Punctur e the skins of potatoes, sausages or similar .

- 8 - Risk of fire! NEVER use the grill stand or other metallic objects when you are using the appliance in the micr owave mode or in the combination cooking process.
- 9 - Before the first regular usage of the microw ave o ven the appliance must be heated up to remov e any remaining production r esidues. Af ter inserting t he mains plug into the socket, open the microw ave door .
- 10 - Setting the kitchen timer The micro wave o ven is pro vided with a kitchen timer which you can use independent of the micro wave operation. 1. Press the button W eight/Kitchen timer w when the appliance is in standby mode. In the display 1 appears "0:00" and the symbol .
- 11 - Risk of fire! NEVER use the grill stand t or other metallic objects when you are using the appliance in the micr owave mode. Metals reflect the micr owave radiation and it leads to the generation of sparks.
- 12 - Grill function "T op heat" This grill function is eminently suitable for baked-o ver sandwiches and gratins. When grilling with "top heat", always use the metal stand t . T o achieve an optimal grilling result. Always place the grillstand t on the turntable 3 .
- 13 - Combination 1 In Combination 1 the microw ave element amounts to 30% and the grill element amounts to 70% of the cooking time. This is suitable for , for ex ample fish or gratins. The micro wave function and the grill function "top heat" are used.
- 14 - Conv ection operation When cooking with convection, hot air cir culates in the oven. Hot air is especially r ecommended for cooking souf fles or crunchy foods. Selecting the temperature • Press the button Conv ection 9 the ap- propriate number of times to set the required temperature.

- 21 - Recipes Meat patty • Shape approx.125g of minced beef into a patty (about 75mm in diameter , height 35mm). • Locate the meat patties evenly on a plate suitable for micro wave o vens and then place it on the turntable 3 .
- 22 - Muf fins Ingredients This recipe yields 10 to 20 muffins. • Baking margarine (80% fat content) or salted butter • 170 g granulated sugar (up to 0.3 mm grain size) • 3 eggs (55-60 g with shell/Size M) • 225 g wheat flour • 7 g baking powder • 0,25 g salt Preparation • Mix all ingredients well.
