GB-IE Instructions fo r the User 11 FUNCTION-SWITCH ON KNOB This knob a llows access to the oven's three operating setti ngs, a nd is also used to select a cooking function (see point “7.2 Operating settings”). From now on, f or convenience it will be referred to as PT2.
GB-IE Instructions fo r the User 12 7 USING THE OVEN 7.1 Precautions and Gen eral Advice When t he oven and grill are used for the first time, they should be heated to the maximum temperature for long enough to burn off any oily residues left by t he manufacturing process, which m ight contaminate foods w ith unpleasant smells.
GB-IE Instructions fo r the User 13 7.4 Selecting the function In the ON state only, a cooking function can be selected by simply turning PT2 to the righ t or left.

GB-IE Instructions fo r the User 20 9.2 Defrosting with M icrowaves General instructions for defrosting 1. When defrosting, use on ly dishes that are ap propriate for microwaves (china, glass, suitable plastic). 2. The defrost function by weight and t he tables r efer to the defrosting of raw food.

GB-IE Instructions fo r the User 22 9.3 Using the browning plate Normally when cooking food, such as pizzas or pies, on a grill or in a microwave oven, the dough or pastry becomes soggy . This can be avoided by u sing a browning plate. As a high temperature is reached quickly on the bottom of the browning p late, the crust t urns crisp an d brown.
GB-IE Instructions fo r the User 23 9.4 Cooking with the Gr ill Element For good results with the grill, use the rack supplied with the oven. Fit t he r ack in such a way that it doesn’t com e into cont act with the metal surfaces of th e oven cav ity since if it d oes there is a danger of electric arcing which may damage the oven.
GB-IE Instructions fo r the User 24 After half the grilling time has passed, check on how the co oking is going and, if necessary, turn the food over. The gri ll is especially s uitable for cooking thin portions of meat and fish . Thin portions of meat on ly need to be t urned onc e, but thicker portions should be turned several times.

GB-IE Instructions fo r the User 27 10 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Before carrying out any operations, disconnect the a ppliance from the electricity s upply. Take t he plug out of the socket or switch off the oven’s power circuit. Warning! Never use a jet of steam for cleaning the inside of the oven.
GB-IE Instructions fo r the User 28 To remove dir t that is harder to shift, use a non-aggressive cleaning product. Do n ot use oven sprays or oth er aggressive or abrasive cleaning products. Always ke ep t he door and the ov en fron t very clean to en sure that the door opens and closes properly.
GB-IE Instructions fo r the User 29 11 EXTRAORDINARY MAINTENANCE Occasionally, the oven will require minor servicing pr ocedures or the replacement of parts subject to wear and tear, such as gaskets, light bulbs, etc. The specific operations for each procedure of this kind are provided below.
