12 Basi c tech niqu es for bet ter i mages A digita l image is ma de up of a colle ction of sm all dots ca lled pix els. If it contai ns a larg e number of pixels, th e picture become s large, it ta kes up mo re memo ry, and the im age is displayed in fine detail.
