V AIO® Computer Quick Start 20 Connecting the Doc king Station Y ou may connect your compu ter to the docking station as long as it is not in a power saving mode, i .e., Standby or Hibernate. Connecting the computer while i t is in a power saving mode may result in data loss or a computer malfunction.
Connecting the Docking Station 21 Be careful not to press the top of t he computer too strongly . The LCD display may be damaged. Securing the Computer to the Docking Station Firmly press down th e two rear corners of the comput er until it clicks into place.
V AIO® Computer Quick Start 22 Disconnecting the Doc king Station Y ou may disconnect the computer from the do cking station when the computer is off or on . However , do not disconnect the computer fro m the docking station while the docking indicator is on, wh ile the computer is in Standby or Hibernate mode, or while battery power is low .
Disconnecting the Docking Station 23 T o disconnect the docking station when the computer is on Y ou can use the Start Menu in the W indow s® task tray or the UNDOCK switch on the docking station to discon nect your computer from the docking statio n while the computer is on.
