1 1 Chapter 1 Introduction The TF7750HDPVR digital receiv er is fully com pliant wit h the international Digital Video Broadcasting (D VB) standar d, and thus is able to receiv e digital broadcasts of that standard. F or its oper ation y ou need an antenna, which must be installed ap- propriately .

2 2.4 Connecting up y our digital receiv er 13 2.4.1 Connecting to the antenna Whatev er sort of connection y ou hav e be- tw een the digital receiv er and the television, y ou need to connect the digital receiv er to t he antenna so that it can receive digital televi- sion broadcasts.

2 2.4 Connecting up y our digital receiv er 15 T o use the SCART output For best results with a standard television set, y ou should use a SCAR T cable. Plug one end of the cable into the TV socket on t he digital receiv er , and plug the other end into a free SCAR T socket on y our tele vision.
16 Setup T o use the S- Video output NOTE Y ou cannot view high definition video by means of the S- Video output. Y ou need t o obtain a S- Video cable to use the S- V ideo output. Plug one end of t he cable into t he S-VIDEO socket on the digital re- ceiv er , and plug the other end into t he match- ing socket on y our tele vision.
2 2.5 Switching on for the first time 17 T o enjo y Dolby Digital audio, your television or audio-video receiver must be able to de- code Dolby Digital audio, and y ou need to obtain an S/PDIF cable.

4 31 Chapter 4 Preference Settings 4.1 Language settings Y ou can select the language in which t he menu will be dis- pla yed. In addition to t hat, you can select t he language of audio track and of subtitle track. Select the System Setting > Language Setting menu.
