These settings are only required if th e Switch is to be managed over the network using T elnet, a web browser or SNMP .

24 Port Stackable Managed Switch – User Guide Page 21 Port Flow Control (FC) This allows a full-duplex port to negotiate with connected e quipment to implement a flow control process using embedded Pause frames. The default settin g is ON. Back Pressure (BP) This allows a half-duplex port to use back pressure as a method of flow control.
